The Trip to San Francisco
Soooo, finally! Today was my first day on my holidays. I had to get up at 5am, and Katrin took me to the Hamburg airport. At 8am the plane took of to Newark, New Jersey which took about 9.5 hours but that wasn't too bad since I had whole three Exit Row seats for myself.
The voucher from Continental After immigration and customs (they took my Kalbsleberwurst away, these bastards) the connection flight was supposed to leave around 4pm but it was overbooked so I decided to volunteer to take the next plane at 7.40pm in order to get a US$ 400 voucher for my next trip (plus I haven't had to sit in a overcrowded plane in the verly last corner but in a beautiful exit row :-)). Well, finally I arrived at SFO where Flo was waiting for me and we went to Berkley, had some Thai food and went to Ben, where we will stay at least for tonight.
