Again
Not much amazing stuff that happened today. I went to a mall to get myself another pair of shoes, as I wanted to go hiking without getting blebs again. Got a pair of Nikes that was on sale for $40, what a bargain, especially because meanwhile the Euro is worth $1.45.
Shoes In the afternoon, I got the chance to try them out, as we hiked on top of Bishop again. What a difference, they are definitly worth the money. The shoes helped a lot - compared to the Converses I didn't slip at all and it was way softer to jump from the rocks. Most important thing was to not getting blebs again... and not dying.
The sun was just gone down when we got to the peak and as it took us about 40 minutes to go back, it got really dark and we barely could see where to go, jump and rather not to go. I will definitly hike there again as it's a lot of fun and workout.
In the evening Flo and I bought about 25 kilogramms of awesome spare ribs. Whew, I was so stuffed, we eventually had to go downtown to get some beer. Again, that was fun. Again, it got late. Again, I won't tell any details (sorry Tina, I know you'd like to hear some dirty stories).
